6th Annual Poets Forum to feature Naomi Shihab Nye and Craig Morgan Teicher!

Every fall, poets and readers alike gather in New York City for the Poets Forum, a three-day celebration of poetry hosted by the American Academy of Poets. This year, the 6th annual Poets Forum will take place October 18-20 on the campuses of New York University and The New School, and will feature over 30 major American poets, including BOA poets Naomi Shihab Nye and Craig Morgan Teicher! Save The Date - Dine & Rhyme 2012 is Sunday, September 23rd!

Mark your calendars folks -- BOA's 15th annual Dine & Rhyme is less than two months away! For those of you unfamiliar with this fantastic event, Dine & Rhyme is BOA's annual fundraiser, consisting of a poetry reading and book signing by nationally recognized BOA poets followed by a reception, dinner, and silent auction. All proceeds from the event go toward the publication of BOA books. As the majority of you probably already know from our copious number of notifications on the blog, Tuesday, June 26th featured  BOA's Evening of Jazz, Poetry, and Art at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center. Aracelis Girmay to be feautured in 20th Annual Poets House Showcase

Aracelis Girmay, receiving non-stop praise for her new collection Kingdom Animalia, will be one of the poets featured this upcoming month at the 2012 annual Poets House Showcase. Join BOA Editions for an Evening of Poetry, Jazz, and Art!

This Tuesday, June 26 at 6 p.m., BOA Editions presents an evening of Poetry, Jazz, and Art at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo). The event is free and open to the public, and will take place during the Rochester International Jazz Festival, one of the largest jazz festivals in the world!
