The Orpheus Society
The poet Orpheus has been part of the BOA Editions logo from the beginning. Now, forty-five years later, BOA proudly announces the creation of the Orpheus Society, invoking the origins of the press and the art, and dedicated to ensuring BOA’s role in extending the transformative power of poetry far into the future.
We invite you to designate a gift to BOA Editions, Ltd. (EIN: 22-2438531) in your estate plan. When you inform BOA of your planned gift, you will become a member of the Orpheus Society, named for that mythic singer whose verse moved not only human listeners, but birds and beasts and even the trees and stones of the earth. We hope you will join your legacy to ours, sustaining the power of poetry through future generations.
For more information about planned giving, please contact Genevieve Hartman, Director of Development and Communications, or current Board Chair Bill Waddell. BOA's policy document can also be found here.
Please note that legal and financial advice for your particular circumstances should come from your own legal and financial advisors. BOA Editions, Ltd. encourages you to consult appropriate professionals before making any decisions regarding your estate plan and to learn more about the income possibilities and tax benefits of planned giving.
