BOA invites you to ride the rails at this year’s Dine & Rhyme! Celebrating poetry, film, and the art of the journey, the evening will begin with a poetry reading and film screening by Kai Carlson-Wee. Kai’s debut poetry collection, Rail, and short documentary film, Riding the Highline, are inspired by the author’s time spent riding freight trains across the American Midwest. Through his lyric poetry and breathtaking film, we’ll travel along with Kai, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the artist’s process as poet and professor Tony Leuzzi joins Kai onstage for a live interview and audience Q&A. A reception with cuisine from Julia K Caters, author book signing, and silent auction will follow.
