David Mura is the author of three collections of poetry including Angels for the Burning (BOA, 2004). He is also a creative nonfiction writer, critic, playwright, and performance artist. A third-generation Japanese American, he has written intimately about his life as a man of color and the connections between race, sexuality, and history.
