Jillian Weise's handmade valentine for Thomas Wyatt
This Valentine's Day, the Academy of American Poets asked Jillian Weise to make a valentine for the poet of her choice. According to her handmade note, which is featured on the Academy's website, cupid struck Thomas Wyatt, and the two plan to meet at BOA's bookfair tables P30 and P31 during AWP 2014. We look forward to seeing that.
Weise, the 2013 James Laughlin Award winner for The Book of Goodbyes, will be one of BOA's authors signing copies at the AWP bookfair. Stop by our tables on Friday, February 28, from 2-3pm to meet the poet and get your copies signed.
