"Poetry Is Jazz" was held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 during the Rochester International Jazz Festival. BOA poet Sean Thomas Dougherty read from his book Broken Hallelujahs and the forthcoming Sasha Sings the Laundry on the Line. The ABC Band (Mark Kellogg, Jim Doser, Chris Azzara, and Geoff Saunders) played along with h...im and also on their own. Artist Steve Smock created a painting during the event - the painting will be auctioned off at our Dine & Rhyme celebration on October 16.
