Richard Wilbur
Richard Wilbur is the recipient of two Pulitzer Prizes for Things of this World (1957), also the recipient of the National Book Award; and New & Collected Poems (1989). Also a prolific translator, Whale, published by BOA in 1982, includes selections from Beowulf and The Middle English Bestiary, as well as poems by Baudelaire, Char, Akhmatova, Yevtushenko, Brodksy and Bandeira.
