Li-Young Lee to be honored poet for 2014 Jean Burden Series

BOA's 16th Annual Dine & Rhyme 2013 with special guests, Li-Young Lee and David Whetstone Li-Young Lee will be the honored poet of the 2014 Jean Burden Poetry Reading, which is California State University, Los Angeles' most esteemed annual literary event. Lee will read from his own works, including BOA titles RoseBreaking the Alabaster Jar, The City In Which I Love You, Book of My Nights, and The Winged Seed. The event will be held on March 6, 2014, in the Golden Eagle Ballroom at California State University, Los Angeles. Doors will open at 5:45pm for a buffet reception and the program will begin at 6:30pm. This event is free and open to the public.There will be book sales and signing with Lee following the reading. The 2014 Jean Burden Series event is made possible by the College of Arts and Letters, the Department of English, the CSULA Center for Contemporary Poetry and Poetics, and Statement Magazine.
