Ray Gonzalez was the featured poet for RochesterInk's closing event on Sunday afternoon, reading at the Memorial Art Gallery in conjunction with TRANSactions: Contemporary Latin American and Latino Art. Gonzalez, who has won numerous awards for his poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, has published four poetry collections with BOA Editions: Consideration of the Guitar (2005); The Hawk Temple at Tierra Grande (2002); Cabato Sentora (1999); and The Heat of Arrivals (1996).
